Southern Okanagan Association for Integrated Community Living
There were over a hundred attendees who enjoyed this year’s SOAICL Christmas Luncheon. During the event Oliver MLA Linda Larsen spoke to the group sharing how valuable Community Living is to the community. Executive Director Richard Little also addressed the attendees recognizing Community Living individuals who work various jobs throughout Oliver and Osoyoos, and long-time employees with the society.
To promote, organize, and support the education, training, development and welfare of special needs children and adults in a manner consistent with the Mission Statement, and bear in mind always, the strengths and needs of the individual as well as the principles of normalization and integration.
CARF is an international, not-for-profit organization that accredits human services providers. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities, the accrediting body is now know as CARF.
